Wins-Based Calculation
Each team's share of the prize fund is based on how many wins they earned during the season.
Prize Per Win = Total Prize Fund ÷ Total Wins
Team Prize = Team Wins × Prize Per Win
Per Bowler = Team Prize ÷ Actual Bowlers (rounded)
Vacancy Adjustment (Effective Wins)
When a team has fewer actual bowlers than roster spots, their wins are scaled down proportionally. This prevents a team with vacancies from receiving a full team's share of the prize fund.
Effective Wins = Wins × (Actual Bowlers ÷ Total Bowlers)
Example: A team with 27 wins but only 4 of 5 bowlers:
27 × (4 ÷ 5) = 21.6 effective wins
The Total Wins displayed in the stats bar reflects these adjusted effective wins, not the raw wins entered. Teams shown in the report as "27 (eff: 21.6)" have been adjusted.
Short (Amount)
If a team is "short" — meaning they owe money (e.g., unpaid league fees) — that amount is deducted from their prize. The deducted money doesn't disappear; it gets redistributed evenly among all teams that are not short.
Example: 6 teams, and Team A is short $60:
• Team A's prize is reduced by $60
• The other 5 teams each receive +$12.00 added to their prize
• The full prize fund is still distributed
Rounding
Per-bowler amounts are rounded to the nearest unit you select (e.g., $1.00, $0.25, or $0.01). Because each bowler's amount is rounded individually, the total distributed may differ slightly from the total prize fund. The Difference stat shows this gap.
Percentage Mode
Instead of wins, you can assign each team a percentage of the prize fund. Vacancy adjustments apply the same way — if a team has vacancies, their effective percentage is scaled down. Percentages should total 100%.
